Overview

Key Process Indicators (KPIs) are the most important measurements used to monitor and control your AquaReclaim system.

While many parameters can be measured in a water treatment system, KPIs are the small set of measurements you must check every day to ensure the system is operating correctly.

KPIs can be collected in three ways:

• Visual readings (gauges, meters)
• Grab samples (taken from sampling ports using test strips or handheld meters)
• Sensors (automatically recorded and stored for trending and analysis)

The primary goal of AquaReclaim is to reduce electrical conductivity (EC) in agricultural drainage water so it can be safely:

• Reused on-site, or
• Discharged in compliance with regulations

Because of this, EC is the single most important KPI in the system.

Why KPIs Matter

KPIs help you answer three critical questions:

1. Is the system working right now?
2. Is performance getting better or worse over time?
3. Do I need to take action before a problem occurs?

If you check KPIs daily and watch trends over time, you will catch problems early—before they become expensive failures.
